Five more people have been arrested for allegedly setting fire to two vehicles of the army and police during a clash in Mirpur.
The arrested are Alamgir, Reshma Khatun, Mahfuz Mia, Aminul Islam and Kazi Russell, the ISPR said on Saturday (November 2) night.

They were handed over to Bhashantek police for further interrogation and legal action.
Earlier, the army arrested three suspects, the ISPR said on Friday night.
Garment workers took to the streets at Mirpur-14 and Kachukhet areas in the capital on October 31 and clashed with police and military personnel. They set fire to two army and police vehicles.
