The government will give importance to players from now on instead of committees, says youth and sports adviser Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain.
“To reform this sector, chief adviser Dr Yunus also asked the players' to submit their demands in written form,” he told the media on Saturday (November 2) in Dhaka.
Regarding the issue of Bangladesh women's team coach Peter Butler's resignation due to humiliation, he said that helis two months' salary was due. “We will try our best in this regard,” he added.
“The new committee of Bangladesh Football Federation (BAFFE) has already been told that if any irregularities were found, legal action will be taken,” he said.
