Urges students not to give chance to miscreants to take advantage of the situation
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has announced the formation of a judicial inquiry committee to investigate the deaths that occurred during the quota reform movement. She made this announcement during her address to the nation on Wednesday evening.
The Prime Minister urged the protesting students to have faith in the country's judicial system, expressing confidence that they would receive justice. "I believe our students will get justice. They will not be disappointed," she said.
Expressing deep shock and condolences over the loss of lives in the ongoing protests, Sheikh Hasina called on students to ensure that miscreants do not take advantage of the situation. She assured that those responsible for the killings and destructions would be brought to justice, regardless of their party affiliation.
"The prime minister said those who carried out killings and destructions will be brought to justice, irrespective of their party affiliation."
