The SAFF Women's Champions have returned home to hero’s welcome and are being escorted to the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) for a grand reception.
They returned from Nepal around Thursday (October 31) afternoon.
Tigresses beat Nepal 2-1 in the final on Wednesday (October 30) at Kathmandu’s Dashrath Rangasala Stadium.
Ritu Porna Chakma sealed the victory for Bangladesh in the 81st minute with a striking goal and was named the player of the tournament.
Meanwhile, BCB President Faruque Ahmed said that the two-time champions will receive a significant monetary reward for their achievement.
Bangladesh won their first championship title, beating the same opponent by 3-1 goals in 2022 at the same venue.
