Jamaat Amir Rejects 14-Party Coalition's Call for Ban

Jamaat Amir said that the people will not accept the demand of the 14-party coalition meeting to ban Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami. Shafiqur Rahman. At that time, he strongly condemned and protested this decision, saying that the demand to ban such a democratic organization is illegal, extrajudicial and against the constitution. People will not accept this demand of 14 parties.

In a statement on Tuesday (July 30), he said these things while strongly condemning and protesting the decision to ban Jamaat-e-Islami in the meeting of 14 parties on July 29.

Dr. in the statement. Shafiqur Rahman said, 14 party alliance is a political platform. A political party or alliance cannot make any decisions about another political party. The law and constitution of Bangladesh has not given this jurisdiction to anyone. If a party or coalition bans another party, one party will continue to ban another party. Then there will be no such thing as state discipline.

Jamaat Amir said that Jamaat-e-Islami is an established democratic political organization, which has participated in all acceptable elections of Bangladesh and represented in the National Parliament. Each has played a historic role in the democratic movement. Awami League has done many agitations in the past sitting with Jamaat. The Caretaker Government presented the formula for free, fair and impartial elections in the country and based on that, fair elections were held in the country.

He said that recently, when the anti-discrimination movement of students became widespread, some ministers of the government attacked the anti-discrimination student community after making offensive and provocative statements. Later, genocide was carried out in the country by various forces of the state. In the history of Bangladesh, no such indiscriminate massacre was carried out to suppress any movement in the past. The entire nation and world conscience is condemning the government for this genocide. The whole nation is united against this genocide. In such a situation, the government has been lying from the beginning to avoid the responsibility of its misdeeds. They are using the state machinery to blame the Jamaat and the opposition political parties. The country's teaching community, cultural personalities, journalists and conscious citizens are protesting and criticizing this role of the government. International investigation has been demanded from various quarters. In such an anarchic situation, the government took this stubborn decision to ban the Jamaat in the meeting of 14 parties outside the jurisdiction to divert the attention of the people of the country and the world. Their decision is unreasonable, illegal and unconstitutional. The people of the country rejected this decision of 14 parties.

In the statement, he said, since its establishment, Jamaat-e-Islami has been carrying out all programs for the welfare of the country and nation in a systematic, democratic and peaceful manner and will continue to do so in the future, inshallah. Education, health, economy and social work are contributing to the development of this country. Jamaat is making relentless efforts to establish rule of law, justice and human rights in the country. Crores of people are associated with Jamaat.

He mentioned that the people of the country and the world are aware that for the last 16 years Jamaat-e-Islami has been subjected to the most brutal oppression in history. Many leaders and activists have been sent away from the world. Thousands of activists have been crippled forever. Many activists have gone missing. Jamaat could not be separated from the people even after so much persecution. Jamaat has been blamed for the past incidents without any investigation. But later it was proved that Jamaat was not involved in any incident. Rather, it has been seen that the ruling group is involved in all those incidents. This time too, all the propaganda of the government will be proved false, inshallah.

He said, with the love of the people in our hearts, we walk on the path relying on the help of the great God Rabbul Alamin. Hasbunallahi wa ni'mal wakil. Ni'mal Mawla wa Ni'man Nasir. All conspiracies will be faced with patience, trust in Almighty God and bravery, insha'Allah. No conspiracy can suppress the truth. Inshallah truth will win in the end. Oppression will end, countrymen will be freed.

He also said, "We rise above the party-opinion and call upon the patriotic people to raise their voices against this genocide against the dictatorship." May Allah help us. Amen.
