Law Minister Anisul Haque announced the government's support for quota reform and expressed its willingness to engage in discussions with students at any time.
In response to journalists' questions at the Sangsad Bhavan tunnel on Thursday, the minister affirmed the government's stance on quota reform.
Addressing the ideological position of the government regarding quota reform, the law minister clarified that the matter is currently under judicial consideration, including at the Supreme Court. He stated that once the court proceedings begin, the government intends to propose reforms related to party quotas.
Minister Haque emphasized, "Since we are in favor of reforms, we will propose to reform quotas. That's why you can say we (the government) are in favor of quota reform."
