Workers of all the factories under Dhaka Export Processing Zone (DEPZ) have already received their salary and full bonus ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr.

The workers of all the factories are now on Eid holiday and they have been paid full bonus and the current month's salary, reports our Savar correspondent quoting DEPZ General Manager Abdus Sobhan.

They were paid the current month's salary and Eid bonus by Thursday (April 28). Only one factory paid a salary bonus yesterday (April 29), the manager added.

There are 1000 factories approved by DEPZ, out of which, 92 are in operation.
