News Desk: Bangladesh Cricket Board is set to publish the Expression of Interest [EOI] for next year’s Bangladesh Premier League shortly, confirmed board’s chief executive officer Nizamuddin Chowdhury.
The ninth edition of BPL will be held from January 5 to February 16, 2023.
‘We are going to publish the EOI shortly where we will mention the board’s guideline alongside the tenures of the franchise owners,’ said Nizamuddin on Monday.
He added that they didn’t bring any specific change in their soon-to-be-announced guidelines of the EOI.
‘There are no specific changes. We will be expecting the appearance of the country’s top houses, the ones that also contended in the past. We will also insert a timeframe per the board’s guidelines, so the franchises can take much time to be prepared.’
Earlier on July 17, BCB announced the date of the following three editions of the Bangladesh Premier League following their fifth board of directors meeting.
According to the board president Nazmul Hasan, the next edition of BPL will be held from January 5 to February 16, 2023, while the tenth and eleventh editions will take place from January 6 to February 17, 2024 and January 1 to February 11, 2025, respectively.
