Time Digital Report: About 75 leaders and activists of the BNP and its associate bodies have been sued over a crude bomb blast in front of the BNP's Nayapaltan central office yesterday evening.

Sub-inspector Shamim Hossain filed the case with Paltan Police Station against 15 named and 60 unnamed BNP men, said Salahuddin Mia, officer-in-charge of the station.

Three persons were arrested in the case, he said.

According to the case statement, the BNP men from a procession threw a crude bomb at policemen, creating panic among people.

An eye witness, however, told this newspaper yesterday that the crude bomb was thrown from a moving vehicle.
