BNP filed a case against 42 police including SI Konak

Time News Desk: Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, Senior Joint Secretary General of BNP, filed a case against the 42 police including the superintendent Konak in connection with the death of ‘jubdal worker’ Shaon in the clash between police and BNP leaders and activists in Narayanganj. He appealed this case in the court of Senior Judicial Magistrate Imran Mollar on Sunday (September 4) morning.

Narayanganj District Superintendent of Police (SP) Golam Mostafa Russell has been accused in the case. Along with this, Sub-Inspector (SI) of Intelligence Police Mahfuzur Rahman Kanak has been made the main accused.

There are other defendants, Md. Shahrul Alam, Md. Sohag, Ferdous Dewan, Shahadat Hossain and many others.

The lawyer of the case, Advocate AKM Omar Farooq Nayan, told, “You all know that during the procession organized on the occasion of the founding anniversary of BNP in Railway Gate No. 2 area of ​​Narayanganj city, the police exchanged blows with the Awami League leaders and suddenly attacked them from behind and opened fire.” Mahfuzur Rahman Konak fired with a Chinese rifle. But the pistol was allotted in his name. The police and Awami League united in killing and gave away the dead bodies. Our Youth Dal worker named Shaon was killed. We have filed a case against this terrorist activity of the police. Hope the court will accept the case and establish justice.
