Time Digital Report: No Covid-19 death was reported while 12 new infections from Covid-19 were recorded in 24 hours till 8 am today, said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The total number of Covid-19 deaths in the country remains at 29,441 and the mortality rate is 1.44 percent.

The total number of cases meanwhile rose to 20,37,456, added the release.

The current positivity rate is 0.56 percent while the total positivity rate stands at 13.38 percent, said the press release.

A total of 2,138 samples were tested across the country during this time.

At least 210 patients recovered from Covid-19 during the period. The total number of recoveries now stands at 19,91,170 and the recovery rate at 97.73 percent, added the release.
