Time Digital Report:High Commissioner of India to Bangladesh, Pranay Verma, said the visit of Indian Coast Guard ships to Chattogram is a clear indication of the two countries' excellent friendship.
Pranay Verma said this at a dinner reception for the two Indian Coast Guard ships, ICGS Shaurya and ICGS Rajveer. Both ships are now anchored at Chattogram Port. The ships made a seven-day courtesy visit to Chattogram on Friday.
"The visit of ICGS Rajveer and ICGS Shaurya showcases our common commitment to peace, stability and prosperity of our shared maritime space," he said. "They are visible manifestations of the deep-rooted friendship and cooperation between India and Bangladesh."
The reception included members of the Coast Guard and eminent Chattogram dignitaries including lawmakers, politicians, diplomats, government high officials, and journalists.
