Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan is not returning to Bangladesh and he will be available for the third One-Day International of Bangladesh’s three-match series against South Africa on Wednesday.

Khaled Mahmud, team director of the national team, told the media that though there was a scope for the player to return to Bangladesh due to a family emergency, but he made a sacrifice.

Shakib’s mother, mother-in-law, and two of his children are undergoing treatment at Evercare Hospital Dhaka. Both his children are suffering from pneumonia while his mother is a cardiac patient.
