Therefore, government arrested Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dr. Shafiqur Rahman unlawfully to avoid the mass movement.

Moreover, he was remanded in two phases - first for seven days, second for three days.

The government has brought false, fabricated and ludicrous charges against Amir-e-Jamaat to decentralise public attention from illegal arrests and remands which do not believe the countrymen.
