Time News Desk: Bangladesh Red Crescent Society Magura Unit distributed Tk 4500 cash to each of the 300 affected families in Covid at Sripur of Mgura.

The distribution programme was held at the open stage of Khamarpara Secondary School on Monday afternoon.

The president of Red Crescent Unit and District Awami League General Secretary Pankaj Kumar Kundu presided over the function while former Member of Parliament of Magura-1 and Chairman of Bangladesh Red Crescent Society Major General (Retd), Freedom Fighter ATM Abdul Wahhab was present as the Chief Guest on the occasion.

Rana Amir Usman, a member of the Red Crescent Society Magura unit, among others, spoke on the occasion. Social worker Sikder Kamal Hossain, joint convener of District Volunteer League Sohrab Hossain Sabuj, Jamirul Islam and others were present at the time. Shikdar Shafiqul Islam Badshah, Secretary, Magura District Unit of the Society conducted the programme.
