A fire broke out at a launch at Dhaka’s Sadargath launch terminal on Sunday morning.

Seven units of firefighters rushed to the spot to put out the fire.

The fire broke out at Dhaka-Barishal route’s Adventure-9 launch at about 11:00pm, said fire service headquarters deputy assistant director Shajahan Sikder.

The reasons behind the fire and casualties could not be confirmed immediately.

The launch was docked at pontoon no 5 of the terminal.
