The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) is set to deliver its verdict on former Jamaat MP and war crime case allegedly accused Abdul Khaleq Mandal alias Jallad Khaleq today.

Co-accused Khan Roknuzzaman will also receive the verdict to be pronounced by the tribunal led by Justice Md Shahinur Islam.

Abdul Khaleq Mandal and others are facing seven counts of wartime crimes including murder, violation, arson, confinement and forced conversion during the liberation war in 1971.

The ICT indicted them on March 5, 2018 in relation to a case lodged on March 19, 2017.

Out of the four accused, two died in the course of trial. They are Abdullah-hil Baki and Zahirul Islam Tekka Khan.
