Tragic! 26-year-old Telugu actress Gayathri aka Dolly D Cruze dies in a horrific car accident

Popular Telugu actress Gayathri has passed away in a road accident in Hyderabad's Gachibowli area. Internet sensation turned actress Gayathri was 26 years of age and enjoyed a huge fan following. She was returning home with her friend, Rathod, who was driving the car, late Friday night, 18th March, after Holi celebrations when the fatal accident took place.

According to reports, her friend Rathod, who also passed away, lost control of the car before it hit a divider on the road and overturned. While Gayathri was declared dead on the spot, Rathod was immediately taken to the hospital by the locals, but he succumbed to his injuries on arrival. Another individual, a 38-year old woman, supposedly a pedestrian also breathed her last at the accident site itself after being caught underneath the vehicle when it crashed and overturned.

Her sudden and shocking death has left many in both the social media world and the Telugu film industry completely heartbroken. Her fans and family members are unable to come to terms with her loss. As soon as this tragic news broke out, her fans and friends flooded social media with heartfelt condolence messages.

Actress Surekha Vani also took to her Instagram handle and along with a picture with Gayathri, she penned an emotional note which read, 'How could u leave this mom..! Had really best times together..! Still, I can’t believe this..! Can u please Come back soon will have a nice party..! Heyy lot to share..! Many more to do together..! Come. This is not time to go it's too early to leave us..! I don't wanna miss u..! Tcre..! Love u forever..!' Gayathri aka Dolly D Cruze, after attaining initial fame through her YouTube channel gained popularity with the Telugu web series 'Madam Sir Madam Anthe'.
