"Mild to moderate heat wave is sweeping over Rajshahi division and the districts of Tangail, Manikgonj, Dinajpur, Nilphamari, Jashore and Chuadanga and it may continue," said a BMD bulletin issued on Saturday morning.

Rain or thundershowers with lightning flashes and temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions, the BMD predicted. 

Weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country.

Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country. 

Country's maximum temperature on Friday was recorded 39°C at Rajshahi district in Rajshahi division and minimum temperature on Saturday was recorded 22°C at Tetulia in Rangpur division and Sylhet district in Sylhet division.

The sun sets at 6:25pm on Saturday and rises at 5:28am on Sunday in the capital.
