Rizvi: Another dummy govt begins its journey

BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said that the journey of another fake government has commenced, featuring dummy candidates and MPs, fabricated results, and insincere oaths.

He made these comments during a press conference at the party's central office in Naya Paltan in the capital on Friday afternoon.

Rizvi said: "With dummy candidates, voters, agents and observers, fabricated results, fraud MPs, and false oaths, another mock government has embarked on its journey, echoing the arrogance of single-party fascism. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, in haste, issued a gazette before the end of the parliamentary term, took the oath promptly, and formed the government at an unprecedented speed, instilling an unknown fear.”

He mentioned that the people of the country and the democratic world have rejected the election.

The BNP leader added that the people rejected Sheikh Hasina by boycotting the sham elections.

“Foreign newspapers, media, and political analysts are loudly saying that Sheikh Hasina has established a one-party state in Bangladesh through one-party dummy election. This is Baksal 2.0,” he added.
