Admission test dates for cluster universities rescheduled

The cluster university admission test dates for the academic year of 2023-24 in General and Science and Technology (GST) universities of the country have been rescheduled. 

This decision was made at the third meeting of the cluster admission committee of the GST-integrated universities at the University Grants Commission (UGC) conference room on Wednesday afternoon.

According to the revised schedule, A Unit Science admission test will be held on April 27, B unit on May 4 and C unit on May 11.  The admission test of all units will be held from 12pm to 1 pm.

Students can apply from 12pm on February 12 to 11:59pm on February 26. 

As before, the application fee will be Tk1,500 and an additional application fee of Tk500 for specialized subjects will be accepted.

Jessore University of Science and Technology Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Md Anwar Hossain said: “As the decision of the cluster admission test involves multiple universities, everyone's opinion is equally important. Organizing this exam nationwide is challenging without complete technical preparation. After announcing the exam schedule, some very practical issues were coordinated in the third meeting to finalize the dates and schedule for the admission test.”
