Celebrities Call for End to Violence Amid Quota Reform Movement Turmoil

The ongoing quota reform movement has plunged the country into turmoil, with clashes erupting across various districts, including Dhaka. Since Monday, protesting students have faced off against the police, Chhatra League, Jubo League, and ruling party supporters, resulting in numerous injuries and several reported deaths by Tuesday night. The violent scenes, rapidly shared on social media, have drawn widespread condemnation from the public and celebrities alike.

Prominent figures in the entertainment industry, including filmmakers, actors, actresses, YouTuber influencers, and music artists, have expressed their sorrow and solidarity with the protesters. Top Dhakai film hero Shakib Khan and renowned actor Chanchal Chowdhury have notably voiced their concerns.

Shakib Khan took to Facebook, writing, "Bangladesh of my life cannot be bloody like this. No parent's chest can be empty like this. I request those of you who are at the parent level, talk to the agitating students now and find a logical solution to this crisis. I want an end to all conflicts."
