Former information minister Hasanul Haq Inu was arrested from Uttara area this afternoon.
A team of detectives arrested Inu, the president of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal, from a flat, said Kazi Ziauddin, deputy commissioner of Gulshan Division (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police.
Several cases were filed against him with different police stations, he said.
