Another case filed against Hasina over autorickshaw driver’s death

A case has been filed against 11 people, including former prime minister Sheikh Hasina, over the death of an autorickshaw driver named Shahabuddin in the capital's Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Police Station.
The case was filed at the Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Begum Farah Diba Chanda court on Thursday by one Abul Kamal on Thursday.
The court accepted the statement of the plaintiff and ordered Sher-e-Bangla Nagar police station to accept the case.
Other accused in the case are former road transport and bridges minister Obaidul Quader, home minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, law minister Anisul Huq, prime minister Sheikh Hasina's private industry and investment adviser Salman F Rahman, foreign minister Hasan Mahmud, state minister for information Mohammad Ali Arafat, IGP Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun, and others.
According to the case statement, on August 5, Shahabuddin was shot in the head while he was going to get food for his family members at the West Agargaon intersection in front of the Sher-e-Bangla Nagar police station.
Locals rescued him and took him to the National Institute of Neurosciences and Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
Four murder cases and one abduction case have so far been filed against Sheikh Hasina since she was ousted from power in the face of the student movement.
