Gas supply to remain suspended in parts of Dhaka for 12hrs on Thursday

Gas supply will be suspended for 12 hours in several areas of Dhaka, including Islambagh and Lalbagh, on Thursday due to pipeline replacement work, according to a press release from the Titas Gas authorities on Wednesday.

The gas supply disruption will affect the Lalbagh DPDC sub-station and surrounding areas, including Islambagh, Rahmatganj, Laksam Bazar, Chandighat, and nearby neighbourhoods.

The interruption will last from 10am to 10pm, impacting all categories of consumers in the affected areas.

Additionally, residents in adjacent areas may experience low gas pressure during this time.

The Titas Gas authorities apologized for the temporary inconvenience and requested consumers’ understanding.
