The Directorate of National Consumers' Right Protection (DNCRP) will directly supply eggs in 13 markets alongside Tejgaon Bazar and Kaptan Bazar in the capital.
“We will start selling eggs directly from producers,” said DNCRP Director General Mohammad Alim Akhtar Khan on Saturday (November 9).
He said we have plans to connect the farmers directly to the market from the marginal stage.
It will be possible to control the prices of daily commodities during Ramadan this time, he added.
