High Court wants list of Rohingya voters across Bangladesh

Earlier, the court sought a list of Rohingya voters in Cox’s Bazar
The High Court has sought a list of Rohingyas who have been registered as voters across Bangladesh so far.
The Election Commission, Cox's Bazar deputy commissioner and other concerned officials have been asked to submit the list by August 8.
The High Court bench of Justice Naima Haider and Justice Kazi Zinat Hoque passed the order after hearing a writ petition filed in this regard.
Advocate Mohammad Siddique Ullah Mia stood for the writ petitioner. Deputy Attorney General Amit Das Gupta stood for the state.
Earlier, the High Court asked for a list of Rohingya registered as voters in Cox's Bazar.
The deputy commissioner of the district and other relevant officials were asked to submit the list to the court by June 6.
Furthermore, the court issued an order for the removal of 38 Rohingyas from the voter list of the Eidgaon union in Cox's Bazar.
