The high school students of six colleges have blocked the science lab intersection of the capital with a one-point demand of canceling the quota. Leaders and activists of Dhaka College Chhatra League have clashed with them. At the moment, both sides are facing each other. Throwing bricks and chasing each other is going on.

The conflict started on Tuesday (July 16) around 2 pm. During this time, several cars were vandalized.

More than a hundred high school students of Ideal College, Dhaka City College, Dhaka College and Munsi Abdur Rauf College are blocking the road in support of anti-quota agitating students at Sciencelab intersection.

It is to be noted that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said in response to a question regarding the quota reform movement at the press conference organized on Sunday (July 14) regarding the visit to China, 'Why is there so much anger about the liberation war? The grandchildren of freedom fighters will get nothing, so will the grandchildren of Razakar get everything?'

The students of Dhaka University started protesting from Sunday night, complaining that the Prime Minister's speech called the quota reform activists 'children or grandchildren of Rajakar'. First at night, the girl students of Rokeya Hall came out of the hall in a procession. They started chanting 'Tumi ke ami ke, Razakar Razakar'. At one point, students from all the halls of the university marched in groups and started protesting in front of the Raju sculpture of TSC. After about an hour and a half protest, they returned to the hall.

At the same time, the students of Chittagong and Rajshahi universities and other universities of the country also protested the Prime Minister's speech at midnight.

Various universities of the country, including DU, became agitated on Monday on the same issue. Around noon, hundreds of protestors came to Raju Bhaskar of DHA and took a stand. At that time, they shouted slogans demanding the withdrawal of the Prime Minister's speech. However, their 'tumi ke ami ke, Razakar Razakar' slogan started a lot of discussion and criticism. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader criticized the language of their slogans in separate events.

After that, Chhatra League became active in the campus. At around 2 pm, they stopped the agitators in various halls including Vijay 71 Hall. When the agitators rushed to the news, a chase started with the Chhatra League. Both sides threw bricks and stones. From then on, the entire campus became tense.

After 4 pm the situation started to deteriorate. At this time BCL started attacking the agitators with sticks and sticks. They beat and injured many protestors. Many of them had their heads blown off. Agitators try to resist everywhere. As a result, massive clashes started in different places of the campus.

Hundreds of agitating students were injured in the clash that lasted from 4 pm to 5:30 pm. Most of them were admitted to Dhaka Medical College. Apart from this, some were treated in other nearby hospitals.

After 5 pm, Chhatra League again clashed with anti-quota protesters in front of Dhaka University's Shahidullah Hall. Clashes continued there from time to time. At one stage, the police arrived and stopped the BCL leaders and activists with barricades so that they could not go forward. The teachers and provost of Shahidullah Hall of DU tried to control the students of the hall.

On the other hand, the police started an operation with armored vehicles from the Doel Chatwar area of ​​DU around 6:50 pm to remove the agitators from the road. Law and order forces left the campus around 10:15 pm.

Allegations of attack on students' movement in various universities were also reported at night. At night in Jahangirnagar University, the leaders and activists of the University Branch Chhatra League attacked the students who were agitating for a point of demand. At one point, the police fired bullets and tear shells at the students there.

On this day and night, Chhatra League activists entered the Mother Bakhsh Hall of Rajshahi University with rods, stamps and batons and searched various rooms. Panic spread throughout the campus.

From Tuesday morning, anti-quota students took to the streets in various parts of the country including the capital. On this day too, there were reports of clashes from different places.
