KNF chief coordinator arrested in Bandarban

RAB arrested him from his house on Sunday
Kuki Chin National Front (KNF) central committee Chief Coordinator Cheosim Bom was arrested by RAB in Darban.
He is the son of Rowal Khoo Bom of Sharan Para area, Ward No 6, Sualak Union Parishad.
Lieutenant Colonel HM Sajjad Hossain of RAB-15 gave this information at a press conference at Bandarban Hill District Council Auditorium at 3:30pm on Sunday.
He was arrested from his house in Sharonpara, Sualak Union of Bandarban Sadar Upazila on Sunday.
He led the KMF in Jurvarang Para, Khamtang Para, Painkhiang and Raunin Para.
Based on the information given by him, 2 air guns were recovered.
According to RAB-15, Cheosim Bom was hiding in the cupboard of his room, from where he was arrested.
Cheosim Bom formed KNF in Bandarban. He is related to KNF chief Nathan Baum.
Tk3 lakh contract signed by KNF with militant leader Shamim Mahfuz to train members of Jamaatul Ansar Phil Hindal Sharqiya was done at Chaosim Bom's residence.
This RAB official said, first an organization named Kuki-Chin National Development Organization was formed in Bandarban. From there, KNF gradually reached its present state.
On last Tuesday in Ruma Upazila at around 8:00pm, armed group Kuki-Chin National Front (KNF), attacked government officials and pedestrians, looted Sonali Bank and Krishi bank, kidnapped manager Nezam Uddin, and looted arms of police and Ansar.
