There was heavy rain in Hatirjheel for a short time
Dhaka saw rainfall ranging from light to heavy on Thursday, following the met office’s forecast of precipitation.
Mirpur Mirpur, Jigatla, Agargaon, Sadarghat, Hatirjheel and Paltan, among other areas, reported rain.
The wind started blowing in Hatirjheel at around 2:35pm. Then came drizzle and heavy rain. However, the rain did not last long.
There was light rain in several other areas, including Kawran Bazar, but the sun was also visible.
The Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Thursday morning forecast scattered rain or thundershowers with temporary gusty winds for one or two places in Khulna, Barisal, Dhaka and Sylhet divisions, as well as the regions of Comilla and Noakhali.
