Fans urge Shakib to check his food before eating
Fans of Dhallywood actor Shakib Khan gathered at the Star Cineplex in Bashundhara City, Dhaka, to demand state protection for the actor, fearing his life may be in danger.
The event was organized by the Facebook fan page "The Shakib Khan Universe."
Supporters from across Bangladesh joined the gathering, expressing concerns over a video by artist Tabiz Faruk.
In the video, Faruk claimed that many artists faded into obscurity because of Shakib's fame, and suggested that some might harbor a deep-seated hatred for him.
One fan compared the situation to the tragic death of actor Salman Shah, who died at the height of his career, implying that jealousy could lead to Shakib's demise as well.
Fans advised Shakib to exercise caution during his travels and to carefully check his food before consumption.
They also urged Shakib to be more selective about his film projects.
The Shakib Khan starrer “Toofan” is successfully running all over Bangladesh as moviegoers are enjoying a long-anticipated masala film of the Dhallywood megastar after a long time, which led to a record-breaking scenario for the theatres across the country.
The Raihan Rafi-directed action-thriller film is breaking the record for the number of shows for any Bangla film at Star Cineplex, Blockbuster Cinemas and also at single-screen theatres, according to multiple sources.
