Iran’s Khamenei to deliver Friday sermon after attack on Israel

Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is set to lead Friday prayers since 2020.

He will deliver a public sermon at the Imam Khomeini Grand Mosque in central Tehran for the first time.

It may shed light on Iran’s plans after its missile attack on Israel this week, reports Al Jazeera.

Meanwhile, his speech also comes three days before the one-year anniversary of the Hamas-led October 7 attacks on southern Israel.

The prayer will follow “a commemoration ceremony," held at 10:30am local time (07:00 GMT), for slain Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.
