Dhaka sends a strong message to Delhi on border killings and Teesta

Bangladesh and India can stop border killing if they want. Besides, Delhi can give some water from Teesta river to Bangladesh if it wants.

Adviser on foreign affairs gave these messages to Indian High Commissioner Prannoy Verma on Wednesday (August 14). Touhid Hossain.

The foreign adviser said, I said about the border, this is an issue that both sides can definitely close if we want. I also told him (the High Commissioner) that I wrote a lot about it when I was free and we believe that. I believe we can stop it if we want. He tried to disagree a little.

Tauhid Hossain said, I said, the relationship will be people-centric. There will be only relationship between government and government, people will have no role; That's not it. There are some problems that need to be fixed and improved. People think they are our friends.

Regarding the discussion on Teesta water distribution, the foreign advisor said, I have said this much about Teesta, I know that water is low. Teesta does not have enough water for a country. However, Tauhid Hossain said that there was no discussion about the Teesta multipurpose project.
