His wife, Sharifa Quader will contest from Dhaka-18
Jatiya Party Chairman GM Quader is set to contest the upcoming national parliamentary election from Dhaka-17, Rangpur-3 constituencies.
His wife, Sharifa Quader will contest from Dhaka-18.
The party’s Secretary General Mujibul Haque Chunnu made the announcement at a press briefing attended by top leaders of the party at the Banani office of the party’s chairman on Monday evening.
The main opposition party in the parliament is set to challenge the ruling Awami League in 289 seats.
Prior to announcing the candidates, Jatiya Party held interviews with prospective nominees.
The party sold 1,752 nomination forms in four days since November 21.
