A fire broke out at a residential building adjacent to Suvastu Tower in Dhaka’s Badda area on Thursday.
Khaleda Yeasmin, duty officer of Fire Service headquarters, said the fire broke out on the fourth floor of the six-storey building around 2:36pm and spread soon.
On information, two firefighting units rushed to the spot and extinguished the blaze around 3:08pm.
The origin of the fire and the extent of the damage could not be known immediately.
