Quader hints at JaPa being opposition in parliament

The political party with the second largest number of seats in the parliament will be the main opposition party, said Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader. 

“If you want to name a party, then it can be Jatiya Party (JaPa),” he said while He said at a press briefing at the Awami League president's office in Dhanmondi in Dhaka on Monday. 

BNP has lost everything and is now indulging in anti-government activities and spreading rumours at home and abroad, he added. 

“The prices of commodities have risen all around the world but they (BNP) have termed this as famine,” Quader said. 

The minister also added that the Awami League would not be overthrown by the words of the BNP.
