Eight police inspectors of DMP transferred

Eight unarmed police inspectors of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) have been transferred.
The transfer orders were issued on Monday, through two separate directives signed by DMP Commissioner Md Mainul Hasan.
Among those transferred, Mohammad Yasin Shikdar, the police inspector (Investigation) of Darus Salam police station, has been posted as the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kotwali police station.
Meanwhile, Md Rezaul Karim, the current OC of Kotwali police station, has been assigned to the Counter-Terrorism Investigation Department. Md Tarek-ul-Islam Tutul, an unarmed inspector from the Counter-Terrorism Investigation Department, has been posted as the Police Inspector (Investigation) and Operations (additional duty) of Ramna Model police station.
Md Shahadat Hossain, an inspector attached to the DMP, has been transferred to Hazaribagh police station as an unarmed Police Inspector (Investigation) and Operations (additional duty).
Additionally, Mohammad Fakhrul Islam, an unarmed inspector from the City Cyber Crime Investigation Division, has been transferred to Rampura police station as Police Inspector (Investigation) and Operations (additional duty).
Kanchan Rayhan, an unarmed inspector from the Detective-Lalbagh Division, has been posted to Shyampur police station as Police Inspector (Investigation) and Operations (additional duty).
Mir Md Sajjad Hossain, an unarmed inspector from the Counter-Terrorism Investigation Department, has been transferred to Hatirjheel police station as Police Inspector (Investigation) and Operations (additional duty).
Lastly, Sharifuzzaman Bhuiyan, an unarmed inspector from the Counter-Terrorism Investigation Department, has been reassigned to the DMP's One-Stop Police Clearance Headquarters and Administration Division.
