Eid journey: Sale of return train tickets begins Wednesday

25% tickets available at starting stations before departure
Bangladesh Railway has started selling return train tickets online for Eid-ul-Fitr, after the advance ticket sales ended.
The ticket sales began at 8am on Wednesday and will continue until April 10.
These tickets are being sold through the railway's website and mobile app. This time, all train tickets are being sold online.
Similar to the advance tickets, the return tickets for the eastern and western regions are being sold at two different times to reduce the website traffic.
Tickets for trains in the western region are being sold from 8am, and tickets for trains in the eastern region start selling at 2pm.
According to the schedule, return tickets for intercity trains on April 13 are being sold on Wednesday, tickets for April 14 will be sold on Thursday; tickets for April 15 will be sold on Friday; tickets for April 16 will be sold on Saturday; tickets for April 17 will be sold on Sunday; tickets for April 18 will be sold on Monday, and tickets for April 19 will be sold on Tuesday.
Additionally, in response to public demand, 25% of tickets can be obtained from the starting station before the journey begins.
Previously, the sale of advance tickets for Eid-ul-Fitr began on March 25 and ended on March 31.
