"I think the first thing after the interim government takes over will be to start the rehabilitation of house number 32. Bringing the house back to its original appearance and re-opening the museum with various pictures, memorabilia and whatever is available related to the house. And the head of the interim government, Professor Yunus, should visit the house himself. If he visits this house, a significance will be created, a message will be given.'
Faruqi also mentioned, 'Apart from this, the sculptures of Bir Shreshtha have been vandalized in different parts of the country. All these should be properly restored. Bangladesh will have temples, mosques, pagodas, churches, burqas, jeans. Everything will be in this society of many.'
Earlier, after the resignation of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, producer Mustafa Saryar Faruqi had raised some of his demands through social media. Among his six demands, he brought up the issue of managing people's anger; At the same time he demanded the arrest of Major Ziaul Ahsan.
