High Court scraps subversion case against Khaleda Zia

The High Court (HC) on Thursday scrapped the proceedings of a subversion case filed against BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.

A High Court division bench comprising Justice AKM Asaduzzaman and Justice Syed Enayet Hossain passed the order, reports BSS.

The court annulled the subversion case, which had been filed at the Darus Salam police station in the capital, allowing the plea presented by her lawyers.

Senior Advocates Zainul Abedin, AM Mahbub Uddin Khokon, Barrister Nasir Uddin Ashim, Barrister Kaiser Kamal, Barrister Raghib Rauf Chowdhury, and Adv Gazi Kamrul Islam Sajal participated in the hearing for the BNP chief.

This ruling marks a significant development in the legal battles faced by Khaleda Zia, as she continues to navigate her political and legal challenges.
