The information was confirmed in a letter signed by Additional DIG (Logistics) of the Police Headquarters Nasima Begum on Thursday.
According to the letter, as part of the implementation of the decision to change the current monogram or logo of the Bangladesh Police, a new logo has been finalized.
It has already received approval from the authorities and is now awaiting an official notification.
The letter further stated that once the official notification is issued, the use of the new logo will be mandatory across all districts and units of the police force.
Additionally, preparations have been instructed to ensure the new logo is used on uniforms, flags, signboards, and all related materials.
The entire police force will soon begin using the new logo simultaneously, the report said.
