Local Government Division Secretary Md Rezaul Maksud Jahedi was present as the chief guest during the drive.
In the presence of DSCC Administrator Md Shahjahan Mia, the Waste Management Department, Health Department, and Dhanmondi Society participated in the special cleaning initiative.
A total of 450 cleaning workers from the Waste Management Department, 50 mosquito control workers from the Health Department, 100 volunteers from the Red Crescent Society, 50 from BD Clean, and 50 volunteers from the Dhanmondi Society took part in the drive.
The Dhanmondi residential area was divided into seven zones, where mosquito control and cleanliness activities were carried out on the main road, lake, park, mosque, and adjacent areas leading to the Eidgah.
