29 DMP-CID officials transferred to different locations

In a significant reshuffle within the Bangladesh Police, 29 officers of the rank of Superintendent of Police (SP) have been promoted to the post of Additional Deputy Inspector General (Additional DIG) and subsequently transferred and posted to various locations. The decision, issued in a notification signed by Deputy Secretary Md. Mahbur Rahman Sheikh, has been ordered by the President and will take effect immediately.

• Zainal Abedin, promoted to Supernumerary Additional DIG, has been posted as Police Superintendent at the Chittagong Range DIG Office.
• Shahed Al Masud, promoted from DMP, is now Police Superintendent at the Barisal Range DIG Office.
• Moshiur Rahman, previously with DMP DB Lalbagh, has been posted as Police Superintendent at the Chittagong Range DIG Office.
• Md. Humayun Kabir, from DMP, has been appointed as Police Superintendent at the Sylhet Range DIG Office.
• Rabiul Islam, Deputy Commissioner of DMP, is transferred to the Khulna Range DIG Office.
• Manas Kumar Poddar, Deputy Commissioner of DB Mirpur, is posted at the Barisal Range DIG Office.
• Md. Rajib Alam Masud, previously ordered for transfer to Khulna RRF, is now attached to the Sylhet Range DIG Office.
• Rifat Rahman Shamim, Deputy Commissioner of Gulshan Division, is transferred to the Chittagong Range DIG Office.
• Ashraful Islam, Deputy Commissioner of DMP, has been posted to the Rangpur Range DIG Office.

• Farooq Ahmed, previously Rajshahi Sardar Superintendent of Police, has been promoted to DMP Deputy Commissioner.
• Khondkar Nazmul Hasan, previously Supernumerary Additional DIG of Mymensingh Range, is now posted to DMP.
• Mohammad Rabiul Hossain Bhuiyan, from SB, is transferred to DMP.
• Sufian Ahmed, SP of Dhaka Police Staff College, is promoted to the post of Supernumerary Additional DIG and posted to DMP.
• Israel Howladar, Deputy Commissioner of Khulna PTC, has been transferred to DMP.

• Mohammad Ruhul Kabir Khan, Naval Police SP, is now transferred to DMP.

• Mohammad Jaseem Uddin, Supernumerary Additional SP of SB, has been attached to DMP as Additional Deputy Commissioner.
