Rizvi: People in power behind market manipulation

‘Government is busy trying to get support of foreign countries’
BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has alleged that the people in power are manipulating the market and are responsible for the increase in the prices of essentials following the election.
"The market is in terrible condition. The general public is distressed by the extreme increase in commodity prices under the Awami League’s syndicate,” Rizvi said at a press conference in Naya Paltan, Dhaka, on Monday.
"The government is busy trying to get the support of foreign countries by any means while neglecting the people of the country."
He claimed that the government is suffering from an inferiority complex because of winning the election with fake votes.
The BNP leader said the 180 million people of Bangladesh do not recognize the Awami League's one-party election, as evidenced by their refusal to cast votes.
People will bring down this dummy government through their movement, he added.
