Gono Odhikar Parishad to rally in support of blockade

Gono Odhikar Parishad will hold a rally in support of the blockade on the second day of the fourth round of the opposition parties' blockade program, which demands the resignation of the government and elections under a non-party government.

The rally in support of the blockade will commence from Dhaka’s Zaman Tower at 4pm on Monday.

According to a press release issued by Gono Odhikar Parishad, the Bijoy Nagar intersection will be blocked.

Earlier, leaders and activists of Gono Odhikar Parishad took out processions in Naya Paltan, Nightingale Mor, and Bijoy Nagar areas in Dhaka on Sunday. Following the rally, they held a brief gathering in front of the capital's Bijoy Nagar water tank.

During the rally, Gono Odhikar Parishad President Nurul Haque Nur announced the continuation of the movement until the present government resigns.
