TCB dealerships will be made permanent in future

State Minister of Commerce Ahsanul Islam Titu said that as there is sufficient reserve of sugar available, the sugar price for the Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) cardholders would be sold at the same price as previous year.

The state minister said this while addressing the opening ceremony of TCB product sale program among low-income families at the Tejgaon area of the capital on Thursday.

He informed that the list of TCB cardholders is currently being updated through local public representatives across the country. This measure aims to avoid long queues for product purchases.

Additionally, TCB dealerships will be made permanent in the future, allowing cardholders to collect products at their convenience.

Regarding March 7, he highlighted its significance as the day of the historic speech by the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

He emphasized that Bangabandhu's speech on this day is now a historical document globally, providing guidance for the freedom struggle.
