First SSC exams under new curriculum in January 2026

An attempt will be made to bring forward the SSC examination of 2025 to February
Education Minister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Nowfel said that the target of conducting the first SSC and equivalent examination under the new curriculum is set for January 2026.
He gave this information at a press conference after the first day of HSC and equivalent exams at the International Mother Language Institute auditorium in the capital Sunday afternoon.
Earlier, the National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB) had announced that the first SSC or equivalent examination under the new curriculum would be conducted in early 2026.
An attempt will be made to bring forward the SSC examination of 2025 to February.
