Army member among two fatally struck by trains in Tangail

The soldier was going to his workplace after vacation
Two people, including an army member, were killed after two trains ran over them in separate places in Tangail in the early hours of Wednesday.
The deceased were Fakhrul Islam from the army and Khandakar Abdul Kalam.
Fakhrul was killed when a train hit him in the Hatia area of Kalihati upazila.
He was heading towards his workplace after vacation, Bogra Cantonment
Bangabandhu Bridge east police station Sub-Inspector (SI) Mosharraf Hossein said local people informed the police about a dead body by the side of the railway line. The police identified him through his identity card.
Meanwhile, the Railway Police recovered the dead body of Abdul Kalam from the Gharinda union of Tangail Sadar upazila, Railway Police Sub-Inspector (SI) Ali Akbar confirmed.
