Says the visits put pressure on students
Education Minister Mohibul Hassan Chowdhury Nowfel has decided to not visit the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination centres considering the mental state of the students.
He said students feel pressure when authorities visit the examination centres and it also creates public suffering.
Students are already in a state of trauma during examinations and hence a huge crowd visiting the examination centres increases their stress, he said.
Moreover, the visits by officials also interrupt the entry of students to the centres, which hampers their exams.
According to the law, no one other than the centre inspector is allowed to enter the examination centre.
