The 12-Party Alliance has announced a nationwide mass curfew on election day demanding a boycott of the polls and resignation of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Besides, following in BNP's footsteps, the alliance also announced a hartal on Saturday and Sunday.
Leaders of the alliance made announcements on Friday in Dhaka after a march program in front of the National Press Club and Paltan areas.
On Thursday, the BNP and the Jamaat-e-Islami separately announced a 48-hour hartal from Saturday to Sunday.
BNP Joint Senior Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi announced the programs on Thursday afternoon in a virtual press briefing.
The BNP’s like-minded parties will observe the programs simultaneously.
